There is a text briefly describing over thirty of London's main places of interest: British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Cabinet War Rooms, Covent Garden,  Dali Universe, HMS Belfast, Houses of Parliament, Imperial War Museum,  Kensington Palace, Leicester Square, London Aquarium, London Zoo,  Madame Tussaud's, London Eye, The Monument,  Museum of London, National Gallery, Natural History Museum, St. Paul's Cathedral, Science Museum, Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition, Somerset House, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, The Temple, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, Victoria & Albert Museum, Wallace Collection and Westminster Abbey.

The map lists many other places in London which can be visited, giving the map location in each case.  Below are a few samples of the types of places shown;  the actual list is much more extensive.  The usual alphabetical street index containing over 1250 entries is next to the map itself.
 

There are also lists of selected restaurants and selected public houses chosen from the 190 restaurants and 170 pubs shown on the map, which give details of cuisine and meal costs.
 

The London Visitors' map covers an area extending from Kensington Palace in the west to the Tower of London in the east, and from Regents Park in the north to Tate Britain in the south.
